Wiraya – Optimizing enterprise multichannel communication at scale

Wiraya is a technology company developing cloud software for automated multi-channel customer communication across calls, SMS, and email. Built for scale, the platform combines workflow automation with high standards of security and GDPR compliance, enabling financial institutions to optimize how and when they engage customers.

The Challenge

As Wiraya’s platform evolved, they wanted to further refine the user experience and simplify the configuration of complex communication flows for their customers. To support this next phase of growth, they needed a partner for additional frontend expertise and scalable development support.

The Solution

Software Sauna provided senior frontend consulting capacity during an earlier phase of Wiraya’s platform, helping build the initial version of the campaign workflow editor, the core tool enterprise customers use to design and run their multi-channel communication flows. That early foundation gave the in-house team a strong base to further refine and evolve the editor as the platform and product matured.

Software Sauna also contributed to a round of frontend modernization that improved developer velocity and the runtime quality of Wiraya’s web app:

• State Management Overhaul: Migrated server state management from Redux to React Query, streamlining data caching and reducing redundant backend requests.
• Build & CI Optimization: Migrated the app from Create React App to Vite and the test runner from Jest to Vitest, refactored test memory usage, and tuned parallelization, noticeably cutting pipeline runtime and improving local developer experience.
• Product Analytics Instrumentation: Added PostHog event tracking across key user flows, improving visibility into customer platform usage.
