Challenge

In the autumn of 2022, Efecte was growing rapidly, which led to a shortage of talented software developers in their Quality and Support teams. Additionally, they needed assistance in agile coaching and fostering self-organising team culture within their application development teams.

Sauna solution

Within just a month of initial discussions, Software Sauna assembled a team of four experienced software developers and an Agile coach for Efecte. These professionals have been working as a part of Efecte’s in-house teams improving the quality of ITSM software. Software Sauna’s developers have also developed new features in Efecte’s products. 

The Agile Coach has helped Efecte to streamline processes, establish effective Agile guidelines, and cultivate a coaching culture within the software teams. This expertise contributed to the continuous improvement of Agile methodologies, enhancing efficiency and collaboration within Efecte’s development teams.

The Agile Coache’s role involves training team members, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and removing impediments to ensure smooth project execution. This experience underscored the critical role of Agile practices in driving project success and team excellence.

Results

Cooperation with Efecte has been smooth thanks to their long experience working with distributed software development teams. They lead and support their remote team members as their own. Regular meetings, feedback sessions, and responsibility given to external professionals have led to continuous improvement and built an open working atmosphere.
